cholesterol lowering diet
This morning I was so hungry I didn't want to wait to make something, so I ate a banana and an apple. Thirty minutes later I ate an orange and some grapes. It is perfectly okay to just eat fruit for breakfast, and you can eat all you want as long as you stop an hour before your lunch time. I ate while I did my chores. Good breakfast.
For lunch today, I had my favorite--a lovely avocado sandwich. I just had avocado sprinkled with chia seeds and some kale. I added sliced cucumbers and had more on the side. It was an especially creamy avocado. Last week the price was up on avocados, but they are down again. I added the chia seeds since I missed them at breakfast and they are good for lowering cholesterol.

For dinner, I rubbed olive oil on some skinless chicken breasts which I had cut into smaller portions, and put them in a baking dish. You can brown the chicken first on the stove top if you like. Sprinkled on sliced onions, sea salt and pepper go taste. You can add a small amount of water and cover them with foil. Bake them until they are tender. The last five minutes remove the foil. Serve them with steamed veggies or sides of your choice.
